Programs

The NYLPF raises funds from private sources for work that relates to the designation of New York City Landmarks. Specific projects include:

THE BRONZE PLAQUE PROGRAM
This program was the first to identify for the public individual landmarks and buildings within the City’s historic districts.

THE HISTORIC DISTRICT MARKER PROGRAM
Markers identifying the City’s historic districts provide a map, brief description and history of each district.
